Welland Fosse Online Carol Service 2020

Welland Fosse Online Carol Service 2020

We are delighted to share the Welland Fosse Benefice online Carol Service, featuring all five village churches.

Filmed recently under Covid conditions, it is a 45-minute service of Lessons & Carols featuring eight readers, a socially-distanced choir of four singers and four organists/keyboard players, with Christmas prayers led by Christopher Armstrong.

Our churches were decorated for Christmas and the five video segments have been beautifully edited to create a magical service that you can watch from home.

The video will stay online here until the New Year so that you can watch it at your leisure.

INSTRUCTIONS All you have to do is make sure your laptop/tablet has its SOUND switched ‘on’ and then click on the ‘play’ arrow in the middle of the picture. To experience it in full, once the video has started playing, click on the ‘full screen’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and skills to make this possible.

Christopher Armstrong and your churchwardens wish you all a very Happy Christmas

Remember that most of our churches also have a real live service on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day: please check out the December Services post elsewhere on the website.

You can join in ‘face to face’ via a PC, Mac, iPad or a Smartphone. Let Simon Aley have your email address and he will invite you, sending you a link to click on each week.  Contact him at sialey@aol.com

If you don’t want to do that, or don’t have the technology, you can PHONE IN FROM A LANDLINE, by calling 0203 695 0088 or 0203 966 3809 and when prompted, use your keypad to enter this number and the hash symbol:  4761164739#

If you join by phone only, your face won’t be seen, but you’ll be with us in real time.

Join each week a few minutes ahead of 10am, so that any tech issues can be resolved with Simon’s help.
